Frequently asked questions
What we're asked most before starting a project.
How much does a website cost?
It depends on scope — whether you need a custom build or WordPress, how many pages, and whether branding is included. Rather than quote a generic number, we prefer to understand your project first through our contact form, then follow up with a clear, honest estimate.
How long does it take to build a website?
Most projects take a few weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on scope. A WordPress site with a clear structure tends to move faster; a fully custom build, or one that includes branding from scratch, takes longer. We'll give you a realistic timeline once we understand your project.
What's the difference between a custom-built website and a WordPress website?
WordPress is faster to launch, has a huge ecosystem of plugins, and lets you edit content yourself without a developer. Custom-built sites ship only the code they actually need, which usually means better performance and more design freedom, at a higher upfront cost. We build both, and help you figure out which fits your project.
Will my website work well on mobile devices?
Yes. Every site we build starts from the mobile layout and scales up from there, rather than the other way around. Since most visitors to almost any website today are on a phone, this isn't an add-on, it's the foundation.
How do I get started?
The fastest way is through our Talk to us page — a short form covering your sector, the kind of site you need, and your goals. We'll follow up once we've had a chance to review it.
Do I need to provide the text and images myself?
Not necessarily. You're welcome to provide your own content, but if you need help, we can also handle copywriting and sourcing visuals as part of the branding process, using tools like Figma and Canva to keep everything visually consistent.
Can I update the website myself after it launches?
On WordPress sites, yes — you'll have full access to edit text, images, and posts without needing a developer. Custom-built sites are typically edited by us directly, which is one of the trade-offs we walk through together when deciding which approach fits.
Do you handle branding and logo design too?
Yes. We start most projects in Figma and Canva to shape the visual identity — palette, typography, logo — before writing any code. If you already have a brand in place, we're just as happy to build around it.
Do you provide hosting and a domain name?
We can guide you through registering a domain and setting up hosting, and typically recommend fast, modern platforms suited to the site we're building. Costs are usually low, and we're happy to walk through your options during the project.
What happens after my site launches? Do you offer ongoing support?
Yes. We ask about your expected number of monthly content updates early on, in our contact form, so we can plan support around your real needs rather than a one-size-fits-all package.
